A resident at Foresters Lodge tries out the new interactive table

Foresters Lodge Care Home Welcomes New Interactive Activity Table

Foresters Lodge Care Home is proud to introduce a new ActiviTouch Interactive Activity Table, made possible through the extraordinary fundraising efforts of Richard Hoggart, owner of Highgate Care.

Richard took on the “Four Peaks in 10 Days” challenge, which included the ascent of Mont Blanc and the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, to raise funds supporting individuals living with dementia. His dedication has enabled the purchase of several interactive tables, one of which is now enhancing the lives of residents at Foresters Lodge.

The interactive table, equipped with over 50 apps including memory games, chair yoga, and video calling, is designed to promote cognitive stimulation, physical activity, and social engagement. It offers personalised experiences, especially benefiting those with dementia.

Joanne Fogg, Managing Director of Highgate Care, expressed her support for the initiative: “This table represents Richard’s remarkable commitment to improving care. It will provide residents with countless opportunities to stay connected, engaged, and supported.”

Lisa De’Ath, Home Manager at Foresters Lodge, shared: “We are excited to integrate this innovative technology into our daily activities. It will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, fostering both well-being and social interaction. We are deeply grateful to Richard and Highgate Care for their generosity.”

This initiative reflects Foresters Lodge’s commitment to delivering the highest standard of care through innovation and compassion.
