Megan holds a First-Class Degree in Fine Art and is a strong advocate for the therapeutic benefits of Art Therapy in enhancing the well-being of our residents. She believes that art has the unique ability to unlock creativity and provide an emotional outlet, particularly for those living with dementia.
In her role, Megan works closely with each resident to design personalised door signs that reflect their individual stories, hobbies, and memories. These door signs, adorned with meaningful images, serve as a touchstone for each resident’s identity, bringing warmth and a sense of familiarity to our community. From pictures of beloved pets to representations of favourite football clubs, these signs are a testament to the rich and varied lives of our residents.
